Thailand Banquet

Tonight I went out with the Abercrombies to a Thailand Banquet. People from the church, New Heights have been raising money to go to Thailand to support some kids there. The banquet was really fun! Kaitlyn, Jody, Elisa, Brad, Jeremy and I were all there and we all sat together at our own table. First we had dinner and desert and then Sam Abercrombie read us a piece of writing he wrote about a day in a life at Thailand. While he was reading some people did some skits. They were really funny! Then we watched a short movie and then this lady did a speech. Her speech was extremely long! It was a good speech but its not something that I can handle listening to for that long! After the banquet the Abercrombies drove me home. That was the most fun part of my evening! I absolutely love spending time with them because there such great people and extremely funny! On the way back Josh showed us a song he had on his MP3 player that was really scary. It was about this girl that was in her room hiding in here closet because this man came into her room. She was on the phone in the closet talking to the police and telling them she needed help but while she was on the phone the man came into the closet and shot her. It was so freaky! After hearing that we got into the talk of nightmares. We all shared some recient nightmares and what we do when we get them. It was very interesting! Now I'm at my not so thrilling home. Its so quiet and boring here!
